Fast delivery as usual and quality helmet…fits perfect and I'm happy….the only issue is that I didn't realise the visor wasn't quick realise and there's no safety pull to release side inserts in case of and emergency.

Looks great but in reality not so great

First of all, looks really good. Was quite impressed that I could get a carbon helmet within my budget. Having previously had Caberg helmets, the last one let me down due to a part in the chin bar breaking and not being able to get spares had to get a new lid so choose this. Firstly good points:
- Carbon
- looks / styling
- built in sun visor
- come with a pin lock insert
- wide angle viewing area
- 2 x breathe guards
Bad points:
- very noisy
- chin strap double D loops
- no quick release visor
- internals have gone bobbley already only after 1 months use (clean shaven almost every day)
- when using the larger breath guard unable to see speedo
- pin lock was really difficult to install due to the fact that the insert was nearly 10mm longer than the gap on the visor
- visor only has up or down locking positions.
In my opinion this is like going back at least 15 years as things have moved on so much with quick release chin straps and visor mounts which would not cost too much for the manufacture to implement. Probably down to penny pinching due to the location when the helmet is manufactured too.
Would I buy again now knowing the above? No

A lot of helmet for the money

Quality seems very good. Very quiet at normal speeds. Like others I found it pretty tight at first (hence 4* rather than 5). This is mainly due to a lot of cheek padding, which will yield with use. There is very good visibility, the drop down sun visor is easy to use and accommodates spectacles well.

Nice fit and the same as other HJC XL sizes. Super lightweight, can especially feel it looking behind with a head wind. Effortless compared to a cheaper shell. Love the colours as well

A better fit than my old Schoei helmet - lighter, quieter, and probably stronger. HJC intercom a piece of cake to fit, works well and doesn't intrude in any way. Usual SportsBikeShop excellent service. Did need to go for an XL, as the L (measured size) was a little too tight - but no problem. One satisfied customer.

Very good value helmet, reasonably quiet, good vision, nice sun visor, pinlock main visor. As a spectacle wearer it's excellent, no temple pressure at all, the weight is a big plus on long rides too. Would recommend this stylish helmet.

We brought this helmet for my wife, I would say after measuring her head we went for a small as she was in that sizing according to ordering charts but when it arrived it was really too tight to the point she couldn't open her mouth . Anyway we ordered a medium and its a great fit ,no problems sending the small one back and we got a very quick refund, excellent service by SPORTSBIKESHOP . Really impressed by the helmet lightweight, good weight distribution , good ventilation , internal sun visor nice look and I got a discount through Bennetts .

My First Ride

It's hard to write a review without having used it too much but from my first ride I have found it to be quiet and lightweight compared to my old HJC. The fit for me was very snug, my head it 57cm and a Medium covers that lovely. Once the pads have bedded in some more I'm sure this will be a perfect fit. I was surprised by the price when I bought it, to get this calibre of helmet for £250 seemed too good to be true. I love this helmet so much that I bought one for my wife, spiffing service from SBS.

Bought this helmet as I wanted something light and quiet with a sun visor. It fulfils all those criteria, and feels aerodynamically stable up to the speeds I've tested it to (which wouldn't be legal on any public road in the UK). So, ticks all the boxes, it's comfortable, and the obligatory comment about excellent Sportsbikeshop service (which it really was, thanks again Bristol staff!)

As always great service from sportsbikeshop. Helmet looks better than pictured, seems quite large compared to my shoei but really light (carbon fibre), plenty of room for my glasses also room if you have intercom ear pieces, double d fastener and pinlok. Good fit, very pleased with it.

Snug fit, quiet & very comfortable.
This is the first time I have bought an HJC helmet & would highly recommend. Visor is better than previous ones, The D rings took a couple of times to to get used to.

The HJC F70 Helmet features an aerodynamic shell made from carbon fibre for a lightweight yet stiff exterior. HJC's Advanced Channelling Ventilation System (ACS) helps move air through the helmet and pull heat and moisture out. Anti-bacterial fabric lining the interior wicks sweat away and dries quickly. Emergency quick-release cheek pads are a welcome feature, usually reserved for more expensive track day helmets. An integrated drop-down internal sun visor makes it easy to manage the sun. Speaker pockets allow the F70 Helmet to more easily fit an optional Bluetooth communication system.
